I used Lightroom 2 – an amazing program. I just love it.
My second photo. First using Lightroom 2 to do the lighting and color edits, and then Jasc Paint Shop Pro to do the selective coloring edit.

i have been trying to learn to edit photos using photoshop, and it’s so incredibly overwhelming. but once you figure out how to make a photo look better (like you’ve done here), it’s worth the time. that little kiddo is adorable and i love the first version you recreated using lightroom (which i have never heard of).

How is lightroom to use? I use Adobe right now and some of it is overwhelming! I work between two versions of Adobe and Paint Shop Pro. I’m trying to reduce the number of programs.
Anyway, I love the edit, you did a great job with this charming young girl.
