Well, Saturday evening was my “surprise” birthday party.
More on that later. . .because I don’t have the pictures on this computer.
BUT. . .the gift from my LOVELY husband and LOVELY mother-in-law is a trip to Niagara Falls, OR.
We leave on Oct. 9 through Oct. 13. I am SO excited. . .I have never been there before, and it is one place that I never thought I would get to experience ever. From all the pictures I have ever seen of it (on-line), it is absolutely beautiful. We fly into Buffalo, NY and then drive over to Niagara Falls.
Does it REALLY look like this at night? How awesome would that be?!
Our hotel is ON the Falls. =D Looks like it is right in the middle of everything, which is awesome!
I wonder if Ric knows that there is this Incredible Hulk store (or whatever it is) right by our hotel. We’ll let that be a surprise for him! ha

Going to have to research the weather also. HOPEFULLY its not TOO cold for us!
Looks like I’m going to be lugging around all my camera stuff so that I can get some awesome pictures myself! 🙂

Wow! I would never think of Niagra Falls as one of my travel destination to-do’s but after seeing those pics, I might have to now.

Niagara Falls is amazing. That’s where Shine proposed. 🙂 He took me to NYC for a day and then we went to Canada. We got to see the Falls lit up at night, which is gorgeous. I don’t remember if that’s a year round thing or not, though. Enjoy your trip!!

Ditto on what my sis says. We actually used to to the Canadian side of the falls every other year since we have relatives that live there in Canada. The falls are beautiful & amazing. I don’t remember if they do look like that at night w/ colors!
You have to take the little ferry that goes right underneath the falls, super cool! They even give you rain jackets to put on!
