The Great Forest Park Balloon Glow

It was a beautiful night. We got there, was able to find a decent parking spot and then lots of walking to the glow. It was just starting to get dark as we got there. It was such a BEAUTIFUL night!

Throughout the night there is a loud horn that is blown, and as soon as the owners of the balloons hear that horn, they are all supposed to light up their balloons at the same time. It really is a breath taking sight!

After the glow and the balloons were down, they started the fireworks. I always love seeing fireworks!

After everything was over and we were standing in line for some ice cream (YUM), this HUGE gust of wind came through. It was like Mother Nature was waiting to “throw that at us” until everything was over. THANK YOU Mother Nature! 🙂

Here are just some of the pictures that I took last night.

Thanks for sharing! I’ve never seen the back of the Energizer Bunny before. I guess that’s how they keep him going and going and going…..
