CA Rocks!

We’re home!! Well, we got home yesterday evening, but this is the first time I have had the chance to write!

Well, it was AWESOME. We had a great time. I met a few AWESOME people. It was an awesome experience. I don’t think there are enough words to describe it. Something that not a lot of people get to experience!

I’m not allowed to post pictures of anything in regards to Mom’s challenge. Not supposed to talk about it either. You’re going to have to tune into TLC sometime in September (tentatively on Sept. 28th) to watch. But, I’ll tell you this, it is going to be EXCITING!!!!! =D =D =D

Here is a little recap of our trip.
6/30: Trish up at 3:30 a.m. to get ready, head to airport (Katie takes me), wait for airplane. Get to GA, wait 4 hours for the nex plane. FINALLY arrive in LA around 4:30 p.m. LONG day in the airport! Get to airport, hang out with Ruth and Eric, who got there a few minutes before me to wait for Mom, Ric picks up our bags, Mom gets in, pick up rental car, check-in at Hilton, out to dinner.

7/1: Chinese Theatre and downtown LA, back to hotel, Steven arrives, load up van, drive to studio, unpack van, back to LA to the observatory, our own celebrity house tour, MJ’s house that he died in, etc., dinner at Mel’s Diner, back to hotel. Stayed up late laughing and having a good ol’ time.

7/2: Ric and Trish go to Disneyland and California Adventure all day – leave at 12:30 a.m. Everyone was asleep when we got back to the hotel.

7/3: Trish and Ric go to Universal Studios and Universal City Walk, dinner at Subway, Ric spills water all down the front of me and some worker sympathizes with him and says to me, “It was just an accident.” (ha) Mom and Team record their show all day. Around 11:00 we get back to hotel, get call from Mom that they need help cleaning and packing up. To studio at midnight to clean and pack up. Stayed up late laughing our booties off.

7/4: 4th of July event at Reagan National Library. I’m not allowed to talk anymore about this. I will write more about it in Sept. (It’s KILLING me not to be able to talk about it.)

7/5: Ruth, Steven and Eric leave early (Ric drives them 45 minutes to and from the airport). Ric comes back to sleep some more. Mom, Ric and I wake up, pack up the van and Mom leaves to return rental car and head to airport. Ric and I head to Venice Beach, hang out there most of the afternoon. Then we start driving home. Stay the night in Flagstaff, AZ.

7/6: Driving, driving, driving. Drive to Roswell, New Mexico to spend the night.

7/7: Tour Roswell, NM and the UFO Museum and Research Center. Driving, driving, driving. Spend the night in Oklahoma City, OK.

7/8: Driving, driving, driving. Arrive in Highland around 4:30 p.m. Unpack van, pick up Ric’s car, drive to Belleville, grab some Jimmy Johns and go home. Phew.
